The Sanders family originally founded the practice in Harare, Zimbabwe in the 1950s. After returning to England, brother and sister Gary and Jan Sanders took over the practice in Wadebridge more than 20 years ago.
With the support of their father, Norman, and Gary’s wife, Felicia, they successfully developed the practice as an independent, community-focused opticians.
Today, Jan has taken full ownership of the practice and continues to build on this family legacy. Embracing the latest technology and innovations in eyecare, she is committed to moving the practice forward with the support of a highly dedicated and professional team.
Jan Sanders
I qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1990 and began my career working in the family practice, before opening my own practice in Redruth. Over the years, I have developed extensive expertise in frames, lenses and patient care.
Last year, following my brother’s retirement, I took over his share of the partnership and assumed full ownership of the practice. I am now implementing a number of exciting developments, including expanding our range of designer eyewear and further enhancing our contact lens services.
I am extremely fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive team, and I very much look forward to leading the practice confidently into the future.
