Having founded the practice in Harare Zimbabwe in the 1950’s the Sanders family moved back to England and over 20 years ago, brother and sister Gary and Jan Sanders took over the practice in Wadebridge.
They grew the independent practice with the help of their Dad, Norman and Gary’s wife Felicia.
Today, Jan has taken over the practice completely and using the latest technology plans to move it forward with the help of a very dedicated and professional team around her.
I qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1990 and worked in the family practice before taking on my own practice in Redruth. Over the years I have gained an extensive knowledge of frames and lenses. Last year, after my brother decided to retire, I took on his half of the partnership and I am implementing some changes which include more designer frames and trying to increase the contact lens side of the practice. I am very lucky to have an amazing team of colleagues around me and I look forward to taking the practice forward into the future.
